Corey Green

After spending countless hours working out at weight lifting and fitness gyms, Corey began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu through a co-workers recommendation. Little did he know that recommendation would completely change his life. Like many students who start training BJJ, Corey’s initial goal was to get in shape and lose weight. To this day Corey has lost more than 50 pounds and is in the best shape of his life, all thanks to the wonderful art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

After achieving his fitness goals, Corey wanted to further test himself by entering Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitions. At the 2011 Grapplers Quest Beast of the East tournament in Asbury Park, NJ, Corey won the Bronze medal representing NJ United Mixed Martial Arts. Corey holds the rank of purple belt in BJJ and has a passion for teaching and coaching his fellow teammates. He love for the art of jiu jitsu drives him to improve every single day.
