Congratulations to my training partner JT Torres for winning the Gold Medal at the Asian Open in Japan this weekend!!! JT submitted all of his opponents by choke from the back!!! Also big congrats to one of my instructors that I received my Black Belt from, Master Lloyd Irvin’s first ever Black Belt student, Jared Weiner. Jared took the Gold in his division as well as the Silver in the Open class!!! Great job guys!!!!! Congratulations to Richie V. on his professional MMA debut win at UCC 3 in Jersey City, NJ!!!  Richie trains his boxing with Passaic PAL’s Mike “Mickey” Skowronski and has a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Jay Hayes.  He beat a very talented up and coming fighter in impressive fassion!!! Richie won by TKO in the 1st round, controlling the pace the entire time, stuffed every takedown and dominated the top position on the ground.  A little more than 3 minutes into the fight Richie knocked his opponent down and followed up with strikes on the ground which led to the ref stoppage!!!! BOOM BOOM!!!!!
