Learned some amazing things today at Master Lloyd Irvin’s headquarters in Camp Springs, MD. Master Lloyd’s academy truely is amazing. This picture doesn’t even show half of his academy. There is another floor to the academy with mats, a ring, a cage, offices, private lesson rooms, a lounge area.

Congratulations to NJ United Mixed Martial Arts students Renzo and Luker on their awesome performance at NAGA in Morristown, NJ today! Although we only had 2 students competing, we ended up going undefeated throughout the day, with both students dominating the competition.

Renzo showed why he has been one of the best up and coming competitors around, showing alot of heart and pulling out some impressive wins on his way to the GOLD medal!

Luker came up after Renzo, winning all three matches that he had in his weight class to take home the BELT!  Luker won his first match by submission in the first minute, then defeated one of the better brown belts in the area (constantly attacking submissions pressuring his opponent). In the finals Luker defeated a very tough black belt, once again constantly attacking submissions keeping his opponent on the defensive.
