Monday class and Bonus Technique!!!

Wow, what a great night of training, and it’s only going to get better tomorrow night!!! It’s escape week at NJ United Mixed Martial Arts. We went over some important details on defensive positioning and escaping from the bottom….

And on top of that fellow Team Lloyd Irvin Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt JT Torres stopped by to train and shared one of his favorite takedowns. JT just got back from Tokyo, Japan where he won the GOLD medal in the Black Belt division at the Asian Open!!! This is a “Russian” to ankle pick/trip from the collar tie. The collar tie is a very common clinch technique used in No-Gi Jiu Jitsu/Submission Wrestling.
