Totowa MMA: A look inside NJ United Mixed Martial Arts Academy

Great Weekend Training

It was a great weekend of training in at NJ United Mixed Martial Arts. We had a great Little Spartans class Saturday morning and got to spend some extra time working on our Muay Thai.  After a great class we finished up with some cardio and all the Little Spartans pushed extra hard!  Then after kids class I got some good training in with my good friend JT Torres. It’s always a pleasure to roll with JT whenever he can make a trip back home to NJ from Master Lloyd Irvin’s Headquarters in Camp Springs, MD. JT looks like he’s very focused on achieving his goal of becoming a 2012 Mundial World Champion. JT won the Bronze at the Worlds last year, and is looking to improve upon his performance by bringing home some GOLD this time around.

Sunday class was great! The mats were packed and everyone is looking great and really pushing themselves to get to the next level. The Sunday NJ United Soldiers have been consistantly putting the hard work in on the weekend for quite some time now. It’s great seeing everyone improve! I’m super excited and expecting big things in 2012 for NJ United.
