This past Saturday “The Good Fight” hosted a grappling tournament showcasing some of the best jiu jitsu competition in NJ. NJ United Mixed Martial Arts Purple Belt Steve Ficca put on a great performance winning 3 GOLD medals for the day. Steve closed out the purple belt division in his weight class with one of his training partners and then ended up winning the GOLD medal in the absolute division defeating a tough opponent from NYC. With already 2 GOLD medals for the day Steve wasn’t done yet as he got ready for the No Gi Purple/Brown belt division. The bracket consisted of some very tough and talented jiu jitsu practitioners and D1 Collegiate wrestlers.
