Jiu Jitsu Competitions in NJ
Grapplers Quest consistantly holds one of the most competitive jiu jitsu competitions in NJ. NJ United Mixed Martial Arts brought a strong team to compete over the 2 day weekend. We ended up with 11 medals total and more importantly everyone gained valuable experience from the “Beast of the East” tournament.
I’m so proud of everyone that competed! Everyone showed a ton of heart and left it all out on the mats. Here are the results:
Steve: 1st purple belt, 3rd no gi advanced
Christina: 1st no gi intermediate, 1st no gi intermediate absolute, 2nd white belt lightweight, 2nd white belt absolute (4 medals …total!)
Brandon: 1st no gi novice, shared 1st place with teammate Matt at white belt
Matt: 1st white belt (closed out division with Brandon)
Luca: 3rd no gi intermediate
Crew: 3rd white belt
Jackie: 4th white belt
Dakota: 4th kids gi
I’m extremely proud of Damian, Lane, Xavier, and Adrian for going out there and having some awesome matches in their first tournaments ever! We’re going to work super hard and come back stronger next tournament! Congrats Moriah for doing awesome and winning 2nd place no gi beginner!
